what's the issue?
Gun violence impacts communities across Illinois, resulting in 1,400 deaths and 4,148 nonfatal injuries per year. Gun violence is a complex public health issue that requires a multifaceted approach to reduce the human and economic toll on urban, suburban, and rural Illinois communities.
