Meet Our Executive Director
Yolanda Androzzo
Yolanda Androzzo, a passionate non-profit leader and community organizer from Chicago, currently serves as the Executive Director of One Aim Illinois. She spearheads the state’s most expansive grassroots coalition dedicated to gun violence prevention. With a 20-year career focusing on racial equity, education, and advocacy, Yolanda also leads One Aim’s Survivors Council, amplifying the voices of Black and Brown gun violence survivors. Her work extends across multiple sectors, including arts education and juvenile justice, where she collaborates with disenfranchised communities to drive significant social change.
A DePaul University alum with a BFA in Theater Acting, she is now pursuing an MBA in Creative Leadership. Yolanda is also a playwright; her notable work, The MLK Project, merges various media to highlight Chicago’s Civil Rights Movement. Descended from notable musicians and educators, she considers herself a mother figure to many, dedicated to nurturing future generations.
